Abstract

The 21st century is gradually accelerated the pace of development of the knowledge economy era, that country vigorously promote quality education in order to adapt to the pace of the development of society, to keep up with the times. In order to improve the overall quality of students, the College curriculum reform put forward new demands. Outward Bound is a modern Western countries emerging education - experiential learning, and physical activity as a means of carrier for the active form of games, activities, through personal experience and insights trainees personally involved in the activities, which enhance self-awareness, mining the potential melting team goal to perfect personality schooling mode. Outward Bound is a new initiative in the learning society and lifelong education trend, to enrich and improve the physical education curriculum system, and in accordance with the quality of education reform needs more benefit students taught and enhanced social adaptability of university students. Research this article to the Wuhan region more than 4,000 college teachers and students for the survey, to expand the training to carry out the status quo of Universities in Wuhan as the starting point, based on access to large amounts of literature, the use of interviews, questionnaire, mathematical statistics research methods to analyze the impact of Universities in Wuhan factors Outward Bound, the successful experience of Wuhan University of Science and Technology Zhongnan Branch of Outward Bound, the feasibility and necessity, as well as the significance of Colleges and Universities to expand training. The study results show that: Universities in Wuhan to expand training is still in its infancy, the development of the overall level is not high. Lack of sufficiently comprehensive college teachers and students of Outward Bound, a correct perception of the students to participate in Outward Bound status quo is not optimistic; Wuhan area colleges and universities to promote the \Universities in Wuhan expand the main reason for Training and Development; expand the training to be able to comprehensively improve the overall quality of students, especially in training students viability, improve students social competitiveness, is the needs of the students development; Outward Bound into college sports programs, not only the need for reform of the teaching content and form of traditional sports, more importantly, the innovative ideas of traditional education, rich traditional sports teaching course content reflects the variety of functions and values ??of the physical education curriculum, deepen the reform of college physical education will have great significance; Universities in Wuhan in educational philosophy, the needs of physical education and teaching, faculty development, teaching management mode and venue, equipment, facilities, etc. basically have to carry out the conditions to expand the training of teaching.
