Abstract


In the 1950s , American psychologist Iris (A · Ellis) proposed ABC theory that irrational beliefs are the direct cause of cause people emotional and behavioral abnormalities . Irrational belief that irrational beliefs , cognitive the the absoluteness requirements on their own , others of their surroundings and things and distorted . In this study, a visually impaired high school students as the research object , the visually impaired or vision loss , visual unique superiority loss or weakened , resulting in its one-sidedness in the acceptance and understanding things , localized analysis , the lack of a deep-seated things , which in many cases will make errors reflect the will can not afford to blow , feel powerless and often anxiety, low self-esteem , lack of self-confidence and a sense of belonging , and thus abnormal development of emotions and feelings . Therefore , the visually impaired or non - rational beliefs is extremely necessary . This study used questionnaires and interviews of 42 students of the School for the Blind in junior high school , from the irrational belief that the development of the overall level of perceived accuracy , reasonableness of thinking , desires possibility respond to rationality , the study found that : first, the visual obstacles compared to the level of irrational beliefs of the student in schools , at the aggregate level there were significant differences , which perception the accuracy , thinking reasonableness of significant differences . Second , the visual impairment increased with the grade of high school students beliefs rational level upward trend , the second year of junior high school is a non - rational beliefs critical period of development , the level of irrational beliefs in third grade small rebound , slightly higher than the sophomore level , but still irrational belief level lower than the first-year students . Pursuant to which researchers have proposed education proposals : First , for each visual barriers to high school students to formulate individualized education plan ; second , to seize the critical period of development of irrational beliefs , students degree of rational belief ; Third, to strengthen teaching methods and the use of teaching language to promote students' cognitive development ; fourth strengthen the mental health education of the visually impaired high school students ; the fifth establishment of the School for the Blind Career Guidance Center .
