Abstract


The theories of correlation and knowledge of the international trade are applied in this thesis. It is examined in the method which unified the standard analysis, the empirical analysis, qualitative and quantitative investigation to analyze and study the border effect and the influence of Sino-Korea trade.Besides the introduction and abstract, the thesis is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is introduction. The purpose and importance, primary coverage, construction, main method of the thesis are all introduced in this part.The second chapter is theory outline. First, it introduces the concepts of border and border effect, the definition and application of gravity model. Then the border effect and the correlation problems at home and abroad are reviewed. Finally the Sino-Korea trade relations development outline is illustrated, and it includes the situation, problem and reason, forecast of Sino-Korea trade relations.The third chapter is the empirical analysis. It is the key point of this thesis. First, according to the present situation of Sino-Korea trade, the gravity model is put forward in the thesis, which used in estimating Sino-Korea trade border effect. And then it explains the origin and processing of the data which used in empirical analysis. Finally it extracts the data from 1992 up to now to make panel data analyze based on gravity model.The forth chapter is about conclusion and policy suggestions. First, it draws the conclusion about the development of Sino-Korea trade relations and the level of Sino-Korea trade border effect through the empirical analyze, then it makes the corresponding policy suggestions, which points at the factors of restriction of the development in Sino-Korea trade relations .
