Abstract

In the high-speed development of the global economy today, the development of enterprises to the national economy as well as global economic prosperity brought about fruitful results and excited at the same time, is also concerned about the series of social problems brought to the enterprise development behind. Should play the role of society is increasingly becoming a hot topic in the era of globalization attention. The proposed development of the concept of corporate social responsibility fit this trend. In the trend of economic globalization, the world market formation increasingly interdependent and complement each other in a complete industrial chain, supply chain, value chain and market demand chain. Corporate Social Responsibility is no longer a separate enterprise behavior, but the common responsibility of the global supply chain, including manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and brands; corporate social responsibility is no longer a country isolated acts, but a world trends and trends. The world more and more companies have corporate social responsibility as one of the core competitiveness of enterprises, and fully aware of the corporate social responsibility of to fulfill directly related to the business of sustainable development. Several times crowned the top of the Fortune 500 companies, Wal-Mart Stores Co., Ltd., in the nearly 50 years of history in its business development, corporate social responsibility has its own understanding and interpretation, and appreciation of the community through their own actions and recognition. In this paper, the Chinese mainland market, for example, the comprehensive analysis of the work done by Wal-Mart to fulfill their social responsibilities, shared some regularity to fulfill the social responsibility to help Chinese enterprises to ascertain example, the feasibility of the things to learn from good experiences found problems and guide business practice. Text is divided into four parts: the first part, that is, A Survey of Corporate Social Responsibility, describes the characteristics of the meaning of corporate social responsibility, the evolution of the concept of corporate social responsibility, corporate social responsibility, corporate social responsibility of enterprises under multiple relations, corporate social responsibility motivation and significance of corporate social responsibility with international standards. The second part briefly describes the overview of the Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Wal-Mart's social practice from six areas of the economy, customers, employees, suppliers, the environment and social development through case. The third part of the Wal-Mart in the successful experience of the Chinese market practice of corporate social responsibility and inadequacies. Successful experience include: integrating social responsibility into daily business rules and regulations, the focus of corporate social responsibility for enterprise features to find innovative enterprise for sustainable development of the value of the network to expand corporate social responsibility epitaxial. Inadequacies include: co-ordinate arrangements for social responsibility system needs to be improved, the need to strengthen social responsibility system \commitment to be further implemented. The fourth part of the Wal-Mart practice of Corporate Social Responsibility in the Chinese market next countermeasures. Including: the concept of sustainable development throughout the Wal-Mart has always been in the practice of corporate social responsibility in Chinese market, establish more stringent standards of corporate responsibility, enhance the sense of social responsibility, positive response to the financial crisis.
