Abstract


Because of the diversification of the bridge-type and complexity of the damages and , the field of bridge-strengthening is not consummate. All sorts of bridge-strengthening methods have both advantages and disadvantages. The diversity of those methods administers to standardize it.The paper focuses on the arch bridge strengthening methods– the technique of using reinforced concrete yoke. First,introduces briefly the development of Chinese traffic and presents the study content of this paper. Second, sums up the main methods of bridge strengthening in use now and achievement of the restricted concrete. Then analyses detailedly the mechanism of the technique of using reinforced concrete yoke to strengthen arch bridge. And verify the arch of origin hoop reinforcement technology and the main arch ring arch forming compound, co-deformation, a common commitment to live load, a significant increase compared with the original bridge carrying capacity. Finally describes the closure of the main arch ring reinforcement of reinforced concrete arch bridge technology, design theory and methods, as well as structural design parameters,by the introduction of the reinforcement method of construction technology and application engineering model, and further reinforce this method is applied to engineering practice.
