Abstract


Optical digital coordinate measuring system is a new type of precise measurement system, based on the technology of digital close-range photogrammetry. It has plenty of advantages such as great portability, high precision, large measuring range and not easily to be interfered by environment, which makes it suitable to be used in the field measurement of industrial engineering. And it is of great value in research and application.The key technologies which affect the precision of the optical digital coordinate measuring system are the selection of the mark points, the extraction of the center location of the mark points, and calculating the spatial location of the mark points. In the paper there are some intensive researchs on the selection of mark points, how to improve the performance of the mark points, how to extract the center coordinates of images exactly and the calibration technology of the camera.The main contents of the paper are as follows:1. Analysis of the development process and the status quo of the technology of digital close-range photogrammetry, and research on the selection of mark points, the extraction of the center of the mark points, and calculating the spatial location of the mark points.2. Take considerable amount of research on the characteristics of infrared LED light source. Besides, it also explains the effects on the precision of the extraction of the center location of facula, caused by the different size of the extracting box. What is more, the effect of the object distance, and the field angle have been analyzed with the data of the results of the experiments.3. We have done some researches on the methods about the extraction of the centroid, and named a new kind of method which involves thresholds. Furthermore, the effect on the position accuracy caused by noise is analyzed. Moreover, we can control the position accuracy of the actual measurement to less than±0.031 pixels.4. We have studied the original technique of camera calibration and analyzed its disadvantages. Based on that, we have proposed a new method of camera calibration,introduced the calibration process in detail, and discussed the level of the accuracy of the two methods. And we find that the new method can guarantee the accuracy of the image of the system to less than 0.06mm in 3m×3m×3m.
