Abstract

This thesis is divided into four parts: the first part discusses in detail the origin and development of the new conservatism. Focuses on the ideological origins and theoretical foundations of neo-conservatism. This part of the discussion and understanding of the new conservatism, is a fundamental part of this article. The second part of the more than century as a watershed in the 1990s, detailed discussion of neo-conservatism in the United States before and after the Cold War and its diplomatic philosophy. Impact of the new conservative foreign concept when the U.S. government's decision to affect the development of the world situation changes, and laid the foundation for the following analysis and appraisal. The third part of the the small Bush administration's global strategy to start, neo-conservatism of the Bush administration's foreign strategy and policy, and for promoting a series of propositions to the Bush administration's China policy and cooperation with differences. This part is the focus of this article, not only to clear new conservatism dominate under the foreign strategy of the United States, more dialectical view of Sino-US relations in the first term of the Bush administration. The fourth part, in the last part of the analysis based on the events of September 11 as a watershed, to use their own theoretical perspectives and contact the actual Bush administration to elaborate re-election to the period of development of the Sino-US relations and the future direction of Sino-US relations.
