Abstract

The political socialization is the basic mechanism of political system to achieve it’s self-sustaining and functions. In multinational countries such as ours, national minority’s political socialization question should arouse society’s universal interest. This article uses the theories and methods which related to political socialization in political science, political sociology, psychology and other disciplines, unifying the normative analysis and empirical studies, mainly from the angles of the political socialization’s effect, the process as well as the countermeasure suggestions to raise the political socialization level, to carry on the comprehensive thorough discussion to the national minority in our country-the Baoan national minority citizen’s political socialization question.Firstly, the article outlines the Baoan national minority citizen as a "political" level from the political attitude and political participation, to grasp the overall level and effect of the political socialization. Generally speaking, the country has made the very big progress in the Baoan national minority citizen’s political socialization, however, from the perspective of building the socialism democracy, It has the obvious deficiencies and inadequate.The Baoan national minority citizen’s specific political attitude and the behaviour pattern originated from the specific process. In this article, we use the structure functional theory of the political sociology, from the angles of the social structures, such as Islamism, family, school, mass media and social and political organization, to carry on the micro-empirical analysis to the Baoan national minority citizen’s political socialization process. And based on this, we have carried on a comparative analysis to the different social structure in the functional consistency, to reveal the internal mechanism in the process of political socialization of the Baoan national minority citizen more profoundly.The article concluded that, to raise the political socialization level of the Baoan national minority citizen effectively, we must strengthen the following five aspects of work: Firstly, we ought to promote the economy construction in northwest national minority area to lay the Baoan national minority citizen’s political socialization on a solid material foundation; Secondly, to advance the process of political institutionalization in the northwest national minority area to provide the system safeguard for the Baoan national minority citizen’s political socialization; Thirdly, we should strengthen the Chinese characteristic socialism politics cultural reconstruction and unearth the modern values of the Baoan national minority traditional culture at the same time, to make an effective integration between the mainly political culture and the traditional culture values of national minorities; Fourthly, we must expand the political socialization content, transform and optimize the way of the Baoan national minority citizen politics socialization; Finally, we should develop the education of the northwest national minority area to improve the science and culture quality of the Baoan national minority.
