Abstract


"Cultural transformation" is a "pain and happy "process in itself. Under the impact of tourism development, the traditional culture transformation of Tianjiahe Village in the " Impression ? Liu Sanjie " has been taken place. Furthermore the speed of the transformation and the deep of the extent brings unexpected impact. On one hand, since the demonstration on October 2003 and the official opening performance in public on March 20, 2004, during these five years, because of a result of creative or a performance, that has brought to the local earth-shaking changes and made people amazed. On the other hand, after the movements of business, the relationship between farmers and land become more unfamiliar, gradually far away from familiar. However, their understanding of new life is to learn from a little bit of getting used to. During the emergence of some social problems and the traditional culture of inertia makes this understanding, awareness and performance of the adjustment process is relatively slow and the results were poor. Clearly, the agricultural culture of Tianjiahe Village is suffering a sudden change in the condition of community by outside power -" Impression ? Liu Sanjie". It drives a "variation", but didn’t fully "integrated”on the basis of variation. Therefore, in order to help people to change their cultural behavior patterns, we need to pay more attention to the farmers who adapt to the other culture in the process of transition. Only in this way can let people know the value of a different culture and the intentions of the communicator. When they own the experience and feelings in the future, will gradually eliminate some of the original formatted stereotypes, and treat the different culture more boldly and openly.Following the thought way above, this essay bases on field investigation, in-depth understanding of farmer-actor’s working and living circumstance. From the indigenous people’s point of view in tourism area, I try to explore their views and attitude about the impact of the different culture which brought to their own traditional culture. After " Impression ? Liu Sanjie " settled down in Tianjiahe Village, facing to the internal and external environment changes in the new situation, facing to the various problems and contradictions that occurred in the process of cultural transformation, we can study that the agricultural culture is how to absorb and adapt to different cultures’purposes.This essay is consisted of preface, four chapters and conclusion. This preface mainly dwells on the study origin, previous study, purpose, meaning, research methodology, as well as something about the concept that used. The first chapter describes Tianjiahe’s natural surroundings, population, social economic as well as the farmer-actors who join in show, and explains the birth process of" Impression ? Liu Sanjie" and the reasons for settling in the Tianjiahe Village. The second chapter describes some details about the " Impression ? Liu Sanjie " show, including its name, content and time. At the same time, I describes farmer- actors’working conditions in " Impression ? Liu Sanjie ", including how to become a farmer-actor, how to be managed, and their wages and benefits, spoke highly in the comprehensive benefits which " Impression ? Liu Sanjie" brought about. Chapter three, from three aspects as survival strategy, ideology and way of life, analysizes Tianjiahe Village’s cultural transformation on the impact of " Impression ? Liu Sanjie "-- from fishing-farming dominated culture to commercial culture. Chapter four explains the concept of cultural transformation by the structural theory and the process theory, reflect and discuss its characteristics and a lot of problems during the process of transformation. Conclusion, with the various problems and contradictions during the process of cultural transformation, we should take some measures to solve these problems. The best solution is cultural adaptation. In fact, dealing with cultural adaptation which is good or bad, directly related to ethnic group’s culture and able to survive and develop better. Only to consciously adapt to the cultures of ethnic groups, so that it is in line with the group toward their own interests and conducive to the common progress of human society and the direction of development, can let ethnic groups and their cultures to develop and grow more smoothly.
