Abstract


Private equity investment fund is a financial innovation in the new economic situation. It is the basis for promoting the establishment of a multi-level capital market. In recent years, many international private equity investment giants have entered China’s private equity investment market. They have received a rich return through investment and participation in management and ultimately quitting. As start-up and development of private equity investment fund are late in China and our investment institutions lack of investment and management experience, they are still far behind the pace of foreign investment institutions. Therefore, our investment institutions need to develop local private equity investment fund management companies with the actual situation of China’s corporate finance and the purpose of institutional investors in order to improve China’s capital markets better.This paper establishes a knowledge model as the core of private equity investment fund for enterprises screening and management, based on the theory of the enterprise internal transformation, using economics, management, knowledge engineering and other scientific theory, using a combination analysis method of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, combining theoretical research and empirical analysis in screening enterprises and investment management. It puts the process of PE screens enterprises as a comprehensive assessment decision-making problem. It establishes a screening enterprises knowledge model in accordance with the problem solution steps from considerations, knowledge representation, hybrid knowledge representation. On this basis, it establishes the worksheet of various stages model and enterprise transformation path model according to the characteristics of various stages of enterprise life cycle and carries out a detailed analysis with a case.Investment institutions in China can get some guidance and help in the theoretical and operational level by drawing knowledge model of private equity investment fund screening enterprises and investment enterprises and management. Then they exit through the appropriate way and complete the whole process of investment in order to obtain high returns. At the same time, with the help of the investment institutions, enterprises can also obtain competitive advantage and improve economic efficiency and enhance corporate value through the internal transformation.
