Abstract


As a large developing country, China will face up pollution and pollution control problems in the process of economic development inevitably. As many industries are transferring to the Midwest of China, the water source will be polluted and the national residential water quality will be affected. Meanwhile, with the development of living standard of the people and the increased awareness of protecting their own rights, the deepened acknowledge of water knowledge and the search for safe and clean water. All of these expand the commercial and residential water treatment market rapidly. The water treatment products will become a necessity in production and living area, and a large industrial chain will be formed within the next 20 years.As a well-known company of the global water treatment industry, Pentair have a high expectation on the development of the Chinese market. How to learn about Chinese market? How to search for competitive advantage? How to make strategic plan for the company? How to implement developing strategy for the company? How to become the leader in such industry? All those questions are the starting point of this article.From strategic research point, this article systematically describes microscopically state and real situation of the current market of commercial and residential water treatment, analyzes the future market development tendency, analyzes the relevant relationship of competition & cooperation in the industry chain, analyzes strength and weakness in the industry, and then provide strategic plan and relevant developing strategy on the basis of Pentair in Chinese market.
