Abstract

Traditional experience that the interference generated by the AC current can not cause corrosion of the pipeline, the main hazard is that the fault current threat to personal safety, but in recent years, people have been aware of the AC electrified rails AC source AC corrosion risk of buried metal piping and AC interference of the cathodic protection system increases. Corrosion interference generated by the AC current is a relatively new phenomenon, and the corrosion behavior is much more complex than the usual medium, so the method has certain peculiarities and difficulties. Analog test solution for rapid and accurate determination of the corrosion of metal materials in the soil medium variation over time, choose the soil conditions of Qingdao, AC interference on the pipeline corrosion laboratory simulation experiments and research. Self-corrosion potential of the steel through the the measurement pipeline steel X70 X70 Steel electrochemical parameters variation applied AC interference, as well as the corrosion rate variation with time curves and polarization curves and AC impedance spectroscopy, which preliminary explore study the mechanism of the AC interference soil corrosion. The results showed that the sample than in the AC interference did not interfere with the corrosion potential more negative, and the negative shift trend with the increase of the voltage of the AC interference; larger corrosion current and rendering increase with the increase of the voltage of the AC interference The big trend; corrosion process is controlled by the cathodic reaction into a hybrid control, exacerbate the corrosion rate. Although cathodic protection AC corrosion can be suppressed to a certain extent, but the in AC interference protection standard, continue to use the protection of carbon steel in neutral solution potential-770mVSCE of it is not necessarily reasonable, so in the cathodic protection of the AC voltage interference, select the most appropriate protective potential, for inhibiting corrosion, save energy and to prevent harm caused protection is very important. The paper presents the best protection potential to replace the protective potential use in cathodic protection engineering. Using an electrochemical method for measuring the polarization curves of X70 steel under the the different exchanges interference voltage electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potentiostatic polarization curves and different cathode polarization potential, sure the AC interference corrosion under cathodic protection potential range and minimum and best protection potential methods. The results indicate that the electrochemical test method can determine the parameters of cathodic protection of X70 steel AC interference conditions, and recommended minimum protective potential of X70 steel under the present experimental conditions for the AC interference voltage is small (≤ 4V) - 815mVSCE about-900mVSCE AC protection voltage is large (≥ 5V)-835mVSCE about; optimum protection potential voltage AC interference (≤ 6V), AC interference voltage (≥ 7V)-1000mVSCE.
