Abstract


Into the 21st century , the increasingly serious problem of population aging . Accelerate the pace of modern life , the parents are busy working and learning , children have greater freedom of space for activities , often found lost children, injured phenomenon , elderly suffering from senile dementia especially when lost occurred . With the development of microelectronics technology , global positioning technology , wireless communication technology and computer technology , portable monitoring based on GPS and GPRS navigation terminal possible. In this paper, based on GPS and GPRS portable monitor navigation terminal hardware and software to achieve system 's goal is to be the guardian locate and monitor , with the digital map , users can view their own location , when users get lost to enter a destination path navigation device . Guardian by monitoring platform or mobile phone to send commands to the device , the device received the command feedback to the user's mobile phone to text message . Watchdog advance will be guardians should appear \This system uses embedded ARM microprocessor , GPS positioning module , GPRS wireless communication module . GPS module and GPRS module connected via serial port and processor CPU with GPS NMEA-0183 protocol to communicate with the CPU via the serial port control GPS module start and stop . When the GPS module working , it will be received various location and status information sent over the serial port to the CPU. Information such as latitude and longitude , and height of the device which can be analyzed by the data obtained from the serial port . CPU use AT commands to control the operation of GPRS module will be able to achieve a short message and dial-up functionality via AT commands .
