Abstract


School is the main venue to study for students, while home is the main living space for them. The target to train the next generation of the family and school is consistent, and therefore, family and school have inherent motives of cooperation. However, the outdated home-school cooperation styles can not adapt to the times, fail to meet the need of people’s self-awareness and the status of disparity between family and school.With the rapid development of the society, both family and school are gradually conscious of the importance of home-school cooperation. The school should show full respect for parents’wishes and rights to participate in school education and school management, to make full use of the family resources to make up the shortage in the traditional school education, while the family should share its duty in the development of the next generations with a positive and active attitude. This essay on the basis of the reality of the home-school cooperation situation in Xinxiu Primary school, analyzes the actual state of the current commonly used ways of home-school cooperation and their advantages and disadvantages. After this, my essay try to reveal the new horizons in home-school cooperation forms in Shenzhen primary school—to put forward a series of reform and innovation the proposal, to change the traditional modes of cooperation which are not adapted to the pace of the times or not meet people’s willingness, to create some new effective and feasible new ways. The high-tech computers have brought new communication platforms and convince of the reform. Parents and teachers can communicate straightly to the point on net whenever they want with the advantage of real-time and anonymity. On one hand, the school can collect the perspectives of the parents’; on the other hand, parents gain a sense of satisfaction since their voice has been expressed. Thus, the home-school cooperation can progress smoothly in benign loop.
