Abstract
Since the beginning of the 21st century , China has entered a period of accelerated development of urbanization . Urbanization is an important symbol of the economic development and social progress , the inevitable result is happening in the world today and an irreversible trend . The city 's rapid socio-economic development in a contradiction with the limited nature of the urban land resources . On the basis of the limited land resources without prejudice to the problems faced by the world cities and even to promote the development of the city . Urban development experience of the developed countries can be seen , the use of the underground space is an effective solution . Of utilization of underground space is gradually evolved over from the civil defense project , compared to other developed countries, and the world of underground space utilization management late start , so far , there are still a lot of problems . Shanghai , as one of China 's most economically developed cities , the use of underground space has begun to reach orgasm, especially underground transportation land use is an important part of the Shanghai underground space utilization . How to ensure the orderly and sustainable utilization of underground space in Shanghai is the problem we are currently facing .
