Abstract


Xinxiang located in the northern part of Henan Province , Taihang Mountain, Wei River . South of the Yellow River in Zhengzhou , Kaifeng , across the river ; according to the North Taihang near Anyang , Hebi ; Sirion coal city of Jiaozuo bordering with jindongnan ; east Puyang , with Luxi connected to the economic and transportation center in northern Henan . Before the 20th century , Xinxiang just Yubei plain ordinary small county . After the beginning of the 20th century , with the Dao Qing Railway and Beijing-Hankou Railway succession transit in Xinxiang , Xinxiang began the process of urbanization , and gradually developed into a small town by a feudal and backward transportation hub and commercial center of the northern regions . The development of the modern in Xinxiang city is relatively slow twists and turns. This paper Xinxiang city development course for the study, 1905 - 1937 period , analysis of Xinxiang modern urban development background , characteristics and constraints . Part IV : The characteristics of of Xinxiang urbanization process and its evaluation . Including the historical role of the main features of Xinxiang city , the role of the railroad in its urbanization and Xinxiang urbanization .
