Corn soaked in water and molasses is the main byproduct of corn to produce crystalline glucose. Effective and rational use of these byproducts has been a concern of the corn processing industry. The nutritious corn steep water the molasses main ingredients are glucose, maltose and Maltooligosugars. Corn steep water and molasses mixture is microbial growth ideal medium. In this study, using corn as raw materials to produce crystalline glucose molasses and corn steep water raw materials, the use of mixed yeast species of deep liquid fermentation production of single cell protein feed, both to solve the problem of environmental pollution, and the corn scraps and economic maximize the benefits. This study utilis yeast, Geotrichum candidum and Candida tropicalis are three different kinds of yeast growth characteristics were studied in corn soaked in a mixture of water and molasses obtained utilis yeast in 48h the fermentation broth of dry biomass maximum for 5.84 g/100mL, the crude protein content also reached the maximum for 1.29 g/100mL; Geotrichum candidum in the first 44 h, the fermentation broth of dry biomass maximum of 5.61 g/100mL, crude The protein content of up to 1.37 g/100mL; the the Candida tropicalis dry matter in the first 44 h, the maximum is 5.78 g/100mL, the crude protein content of 1.25 g/100mL. Comparison drawn by a single strain and mixed microbial fermentation: up to 5.87 g/100ml Geotrichum candidum and Candida tropicalis mixed bacterial fermentation of dry biomass, crude protein content is the highest at 1.78 g / 100mL. Select Geotrichum candidum and Candida tropicalis fermentation bacteria. By analysis of raw materials, and single-cell protein production process optimization, and ultimately arrive: When inoculated into corn soaked in water and molasses using Geotrichum candidum and Candida tropicalis inoculum size of 10% of a 1:1 combination ratio was 2.5:1, with volume of 15% fermented liquid urea is added in an amount 3.5 g/100mL pH 3.5 and a temperature of 30 ° C, 48 h of fermentation obtain single-cell protein dry matter 8.07 g/100mL The crude protein content of 5.27 g/100mL. The main component of the crude protein content in the single-cell protein production finished under optimum conditions, minerals, and amino acid content analyzes, the crude protein content of 70.18%, containing phosphorus, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and other minerals, and various amino acids in both rich, has a very high nutritional value.
