The villagers of LaiHao is belong to the old resettlement of the forepart reservoir construction, after 50 years of development, the village`s economic structure has undergone tremendous changes. In order to study the process and the factors of livelihoods transformation in rural society under the context of reservoir resettlement, I using of participant observation, depth interviews, in-depth description and subjective-objective methods to research the LaiHao with social anthropology fieldwork. Surveys show that in 50 years of development, the reservoir immigrants of LaiHao has transition their living pattern, change from the early tradition livelihood, like rice, sugarcane, halieutics, collect firewood to sell and so on, to the new livelihood pattern, like watermelon, mango, tomato, happy farmhouse, breed and so on. Stages and characteristics of livelihood transition reflect the relation of changes in living and historical environment. By analyzing, livelihood transition of LaiHao affected by land, government, market, technology, ideas and rural elites and other factors. At the present time LaiHao facing the concerns of redundant construction industry and the ecological problems come with happy farmhouse tourism development, it requires us to enhance the development of industrial guidance, industrial services and industrial diversification which based on the basis of its their characteristics resources, make the economic structure transformation reasonable, and then step into the stable development track.
