Abstract


Problem solution is an important aspect of maths studying, and it is also the eternal theme of maths learning, about which many teachers and students are concerned. Reflection is the acknowledgement of perception and it is further cognition of oneself.Reflective learning is an important method of Mathematical studying and it is a reflection of students’learning ability but it is still a weak point in the daily teaching.How to add reflection in is still an important aspect in the effective teaching of maths.The thesis discourses in details various researches in reflection, especially on the metacognition theory. The thesis reviews the great contributions Polya and Sheffield have made to maths problem solution.They combine metacognition with problem solution properly. The writer did questionnaire survey on the recollection of maths problem solution in the students of the three grades in senior high school. The results show the students are weak in recollection after problem solution.The reflection ability of students has a close connection with many factors, such as the basis of students’maths learning, the teachers’consciousness of reflection, and the training of the students’ability of reflection.The training of the students’reflection depends on students’learning psychology and teachers’intensifying.According to her teaching experience and understanding of reflection,the writer tried two new teaching modes.In these teaching modes the students’concerned change the learning method from passive mode to active mode and has achieved good results.According to the researches and teaching attempts,the writer draw the following conclusions:Firstly, teachers should adopt multiple teaching evalution, and creating an easy learning atmosphere for students’reflective learning.Teachers are the guide and participant of students’learning process.Teachers’ reflective ability have an influence on students. So the department in charge of education should strengthen teachers’training and establish a system beneficial to young teachers’learning from old teachers.Students’reflective ability and habit has a good effect on student’s marks. And teachers should adopt teaching methods and strategies for different students especially the students whose future majors in science or arts.Developing students reflective ability among the problem solution is an easily adopted way. Under the present circumstances,it is a method in accord with the students’psychology.The development of student’s reflective ability depends on the great efforts of both the teachers and the students.
