Communist Party of China’s political propaganda refers to a process in which the Communist Party of China, with media, conveys thoughts, routes, principles and policies to people and works on major ideology orientation. It is an important component of the Party’s political work. And in this process, the realization of political propaganda purposes, political propaganda’s effect quality, etc, to a great extent, depend on the methods used appropriateness of the publicity.In this paper, through discussing the basic theories of the political propaganda of Chinese communist party, the concrete ways the Party used in each time, the characteristic analysis of those methods and the consideration of those methods under the background of the new era, this paper systematically relates the political propaganda methods used by the Communist Party of China. Firstly, in the basic theoretical introduction part, the paper emphatically analyses the connotation of the political propaganda, factors and the relations with the political mobilization and other related concepts problems. And then, as for the methods used in concrete political propaganda, it emphatically analyses the reasonable and scientific methods the Party should use in the revolution and socialist construction and the period of reform and opening up, such as newspapers, radio, public signs and slogans, movies, Internet, etc. Next, for the features of those methods, it talks about the basic form and characteristics of the propaganda methods. Finally, based on the specific discussion and characteristic analysis, I realize the arrival of Internet era brings the Party not only opportunities but also challenges. To make a further analysis, the communist party of China should not only reasonably make use of network- a new platform for propaganda, also carry out reasonable management while controlling the network. Only in this way can the Party achieve the maximization of the political propaganda through network. At the same time, we also need to pay attention to the influences of the experts and scholars, and we should be aware that they can potentially become communicators for the Communist Party of China.
