Abstract


Ideological and political theory courses of colleges and universities (referredto as the ideological and political theory courses) bear the task of the system ofeducation in Marxism theory to college students,it is the main channel of theideological and political education. Giving full play to the role of the main channelof Ideological and Political Theory Courses is the essential characteristic of thesocialistic higher education. Building scientific and perfect evaluation system hasgreat effects on strengthening and improving the ideological and political theorycourses. How to improve the evaluation system and apply it to the practice ofreform and development of the ideological and political theory courses is abreakthrough point for ideological and political education. To comprehend theevaluation deeply has direct influence on ideological and political theory teaching,perfect evaluation is beneficial to find the weak links in the ideological andpolitical theory teaching and has great significance to guide the development ofideological and political theory courses.This article is based on the ideological and political theory courses,how toperfect the ideological and political theory courses is the stating and ending point.To analyze the importance of evaluation, the main frame is divided into thefollowing sections: the first part is an introduction part from the concept of theideological and political theory courses evaluation, stating concerning concepts ofideological and political education evaluation,interpreting the significance,contentsand methods of the research, as well as domestic and foreign research profiles. Thesecond part is mainly about theoretical sources of the ideological and politicaltheory courses evaluation, from western moral evaluation thought,ancient Chinesemoral evaluation thoughts, as well as Marxism and Chinese Marxism moralevaluation thought, these thoughts are significant for construction of modernevaluation theories. In the third part,to analyze the current situation of ideologicaland political theory courses, it is mainly about achievements and weaknesses of the research from the evaluation practices. In the third part, the study of the ideologicaland political theory courses evaluation methods from a methodological point ofview in three dimensions improves the evaluation system of ideological andpolitical theory courses. The fourth part is the last part of the paper which isincluding conclusion and references.
