Abstract


The role of banking sector in the economy as a whole is more and more significant with the economic development. As the current Chinese banking backbone, the development of state-owned commercial banks attracts more and more social concern. Performance evaluation as one of the means of internal management has great impact on the competitiveness of the individual bank and macro development of the entire banking industry. So, the way in which to improve performance evaluation system is worth further exploring.By A Bank Shaanxi Branch as the research object, this paper focuses on the shortcomings in the course of performance evaluation system. It points out the existing problems by reviewing modern performance evaluation theory, borrowing international experience and deep-going analysis, and gives some improving suggestions in turn.Finally, makes the conclusion of a three-aspect improvement plan and gives a whole procedure for A Bank Shaanxi Branch.
