Abstract


At present, China females, especially the Female graduate students as the highly educated women in society, have played more and more important role. So their career development trends will play a crucial role in socio-economic development. But in daily life, because of their own characteristics and the influence of traditional social, comparing with men, many women have faced many professional problems and puzzles in the career development path. Such as: the discrimination in recruitment promotion, family and career problems, parenthood, etc. These problems often become an obstacle to women’s career development. So, the studies of career planning for women’s would help to explore and overcome these barriers and promote women’s career development. Based on the theoretical perspective of gender, investigated female graduate students in reading from five universities in Chongqing University through literature, questionnaires and structured interviews, found that female graduate students in reading in colleges and universities on career planning have the following issues: the first is that career planning have not high enough degree of self-analysis, the second is that Workplace inequality limits the female college students in career planning reading, the third is that Family factors influenced female the college graduate on career planning and development, the forth is that lack of confidence hinder career planning and development. This paper proposes the following suggestions,wish to contribute to female graduate students of universities in the reading overcome these obstacles, and promote the career development of university female students in the reading. For example, combine individual and school, and enhance awareness of career planning,create a professional environment with positive and gender equality for promoting the career development of university female students in the readings, updates gender awareness and concern the career planning and development of university female students, pay attention to female graduate student occupation career planning and development ,strengthen the cultivation of self-confidence, provides power to the female graduate student occupation career development.
