Background : Severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) is a common clinical emergency and severe , ferocious , and the complexity of the pathogenesis , the rapid progression of the mortality rate as high as 20% to 30 % . In recent years , a large number of studies have shown that the intestinal mucosal barrier dysfunction plays an extremely important role in the development of the disease process in SAP . Therefore, how to protect the intestinal mucosal barrier function as SAP where the key to success lies . ω-3 fish oil fat emulsion has good role in regulating the inflammatory response to further explore its mechanism of action and SAP when the intestinal mucosal barrier function of immeasurable value in the treatment of SAP . Objective : To observe the rats with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) omega - 3 fish oil fat emulsion intravenous treatment , intestinal mucosal barrier histological changes its permeability changes of ω-3 fish oil fat emulsion of severe acute pancreatitis rat intestinal mucosa barrier function . Methods: 48 male SD rats were randomly divided into three groups , isotonic saline group (A ) , sham surgery group (B ) , and fish oil treatment group (C group) , 16 in each group . Model through surgery to ensure successful SAP rat model A , C rats via the tail vein injection were given saline and fish oil , abdominal aortic blood collection , the rats were killed after a few hours . After determination of the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor -a (TNF-a), C- reactive protein (CRP) concentration and plasma diamine oxidase (DAO) activity . After administration , urine was collected at the same time , detection of urinary lactulose / mannitol ratio . Time after blood pancreas and small intestine tissue HE staining and pathological score . After the experiment, collect the indicators for statistical analysis. Results : C serum tumor necrosis factor - a ( TNF -a ) and C-reactive protein (CRP) concentration was significantly lower than in group A ( P lt; 0.05 ) , but higher than that in group B ( P lt; 0.05 ) . The fish oil group and the saline group ω-3 fish oil fat emulsion can lower plasma diamine oxidase (DAO) activity and urinary lactulose / mannitol ratio ( P lt; 0.05 ) . B, C rats intestinal mucosa to a lesser extent , the small intestine inflammation score was lower than group A ( P lt; 0.05 ) . Conclusion : SAP rat intestinal mucosa barrier permeability, functional destruction . After ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid treatment significantly reduced inflammatory response after intestinal mucosa repair , improved barrier function of the intestinal mucosa .
