Abstract

PE teacher continuing education is an integral part of teachers' continuing education. PE teacher continuing education to meet the state qualifications and physical education teachers with teacher qualifications, training to update their knowledge structure, improve the level of expertise to improve the political and ideological quality of teaching, research capacity. At present, China's middle school PE teacher continuing education for the 21st century project has entered the stage of full implementation. Problems with the following responses: changing concepts, improve physical education teachers to participate in continuing education of the importance and the necessity of understanding; promote the diversification of the sponsoring body and form, and enhance the relevance of school to improve physical education teachers to actively participate in the continuing education and initiative to meet the needs of the vast number of different levels of secondary school physical education teachers; provide sufficient time to ensure funding for strengthen continuing education bases, strengthen and improve the education and training system construction, increase continuing education propaganda, continuing education smooth implementation; enhance teachers' teaching and research activities, improve professional standards; improve assessment methods, and build the whole evaluation system of continuing education, in order to improve the effect of continuing education.
