Abstract


As China enters a period of rapid development of industrialization, the the minerals market surge in demand in Western China plays an increasingly important role as a national resource strategy succeed. Xinjiang prominent location advantages, rich in mineral resources, the mining industry is the main source of economic growth. In this context, the competitiveness in the western region of Xinjiang Mining industry to enhance Xinjiang Mining competitiveness, attract mining investment, promoting economic growth in Xinjiang, and provide resources and support for China's industrialization has important practical significance. The use of industrial economics, regional economics theory, principal component analysis on the Xinjiang mining industrial competitiveness horizontal and vertical comprehensive evaluation.
