Abstract


Research and analysis of regional industrial agglomeration impact on regional technological innovation, for changing the situation of China's industrial development, enhance regional technology innovation and the development of a more rational regional industrial policy can have an important impact, related to China's sustained economic development and international raising the level of industrial competitiveness. Research based on the actual situation of China's regional industrial agglomeration, combined with domestic and foreign scholars, by selecting the panel data of 30 provinces across the country between 2003-2008, the use of the application Eviews6.0 statistical analysis software to measure Regression establish number of forms of Cobb - Douglas production function model, empirical analysis of specialization and diversification of industrial clustering structure characteristics of the regional technical innovation capability, depth of influencing factors involved in the model affect regional technological innovation capability discussed. The main conclusions are as follows: (1) Industrial Agglomeration and sex have a positive impact on regional technological innovation, two different kinds of industrial clustering structure (diversification and specialization) can promote the technological innovation activities, diversification of industrial clustering structure more significant impact on technological innovation activities. (2), respectively, to the total amount of patent applications and inventions patent applications as an explanatory variable regression, R \u0026 D investment to increase and investment in human capital increase can promote regional technological innovation activities, and two output elasticity of less than 1. On the number of invention patent applications as explanatory variables for regression, come to R \u0026 D capital contribution to the regional technological innovation rate is greater than the contribution rate of R \u0026 D staff of the regional technical innovation. (3) the level of urbanization has a positive impact on the regional technological innovation activities, which prove that the higher the level of urbanization in a region more conducive to regional technological innovation as well as regional technical innovation influencing factors play a role. Foreign investment have a positive impact on regional technological innovation, as the the positive foreign technology spillovers and competition effects of the technological innovation of foreign investment in the local area, will produce a negative effect to weaken the local technological innovation capability, so to prove the positive effects of foreign investment its negative effects, and that foreign investment will promote regional technological innovation. In this paper, the diversification and specialization of the study industrial agglomeration structure and other relevant factors of the regional technical innovation, combined with the status quo of China's regional industrial agglomeration and regional technology innovation activities, as well as summary put forward policy recommendations to improve regional technical ability to innovate, and to promote regional economic growth.
