Abstract


Since the 1980s, foreign direct investment in the world rapidly. Its surge in stocks and flows of investment in the home country's economic development and play an important role in industrial restructuring, and are subject to various investment home country more and more attention. In addition to foreign direct investment in the home country industrial restructuring impact, the investment in the home country R \u0026 D investment and investment in education, making the mother country technology professionals to increase science and technology to enhance the level and ultimately enhance the home countries of international competitiveness, improving the domestic industrial structure condition. Currently, many developing countries, including China, are trying to expand their scale of foreign direct investment, upgrading of domestic technological level. In this context, this paper developed and developing countries through selected samples were compared to investigate these two countries, foreign direct investment and intellectual input on the impact of industrial restructuring and empirical analysis of the development of these two countries provide recommendations. In this paper, finishing predecessors impact on foreign direct investment home country industrial structure adjustment, based on a method of empirical analysis, respectively, from the selected sample of developed and developing countries the perspective of foreign direct investment and knowledge put to industrial restructuring influence this thesis research. First, the largest developed country (United States) and the largest developing country (China), for example, introduced its foreign direct investment in the history and current situation; Second, the selected sample of developed and developing countries, empirical analysis of samples, including samples of individual country regression analysis and econometric model based on panel data analysis in an attempt to explore these two selected sample the country's foreign direct investment and intellectual input on the impact of industrial restructuring, and compare them; Finally, the two countries The empirical results are compared, given the conclusion. Through empirical analysis, we concluded that: (1) This sample selected developed and developing samples and knowledge of foreign direct investment into the industrial structure adjustment play a catalytic role, this role is more developed obvious. Whether in a single country empirical regression analysis, or in empirical panel data model, this conclusion is proven; (2) Foreign direct investment in developed countries, knowledge, investment and industrial restructuring are reciprocal causation , while foreign direct investment in developing countries is the only reason for the adjustment of industrial structure. This shows that foreign direct investment in developed countries and knowledge of high input levels than in developing countries. For this reason, foreign direct investment in developed countries and knowledge investment and industrial restructuring forge a closer relationship.
