With the development of modern society , computer network technology, communication technology , video surveillance and other technologies have been widely used. In the field of video surveillance , due to their own limitations, traditional computer and video card technology program has been unable to meet the application requirements of many occasions , therefore , the new network video surveillance program came into being. Embedded video card with its compact network switches , low power consumption and low cost advantages, has become the trend of network video surveillance , with broad market prospects . In this paper, extensive research , analyze, summarize results of previous studies based on the high-speed transmission with lossless video signal as research background, the contrast through a variety of programs designed for high-speed transmission of video signals lossless Gigabit Ethernet switching system solutions . The program uses the current popular SOPC technology and embedded Gigabit Ethernet technology , in order to make non-destructive high-speed transmission of video data , the hardware selected Altera's Cyclone III FPGA chip , AXIS AX88180 Gigabit MAC chip companies and Realtek RTL8211 Gigabit PHY chip company as a core component to build gigabit network platform that enables video data can be transmitted without any compression , so as to achieve the purpose of non-destructive ; open source software on the selection LwIP embedded network protocol stack as a network transmission infrastructure , in order to solve the embedded network protocol systems on the problem of low efficiency , combining hardware platforms and MAC drivers , network protocol stack is optimized. This paper also proposes a system for the system test plan , functionality and performance of the system was tested . System test results indicate that fully meet the original design requirements and meet the needs of the application . Finally, the paper summarizes the work , but also on the test results are analyzed , pointing out that further enhance the system performance methods and approaches .
