Objective : To analyze 126 cases of vitreous hemorrhage etiology , investigate the cause of vitreous hemorrhage associated with gender and age resistance, for the selection of appropriate treatment methods to provide evidence . Methods : The hospital June 2005 - March 2010 period , led by vitreous hemorrhage diagnosed 126 cases ( 130 eyes ) hospitalized patients clinical data were retrospectively analyzed . RESULTS: In all patients with vitreous hemorrhage , proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) caused by up to 54 cases ( 42.86% ) , followed by 37 cases of ocular trauma ( 29.37% ) , retinal vein inflammation around and vein occlusion (RVO) 8 cases were caused by ( 6.35% ) , 15 cases ( 11.90% ) . 76 cases of male patients with vitreous hemorrhage caused by eye injuries accounted for the first 30 cases ( 39.47% ) , followed by PDR 27 cases ( 35.53% ) , again for the RVO 7 cases ( 9.21% ) , retinal vein inflammation around six cases of eight eyes ( 7.89% ) . 50 cases of female patients PDR 27例(54.00%), RVO 8 cases ( 16.00% ) , ocular trauma 7 cases ( 14.00% ) , retinal vein inflammation around 2 cases ( 4.00% ) . Significant differences exist between men and women etiology (χ2 = 18.21, p lt; 0.05). 44 young people under the age of patients, ocular trauma and retinal vein inflammation around the majority of patients were 25 cases ( 55.56% ) , 8 cases of 10 eyes (17.78%), PDR 6 cases ( 13.33% ) . 45 -year-old to 59 -year-old middle-aged patients , PDR 21 Example 22 eyes ( 56.76% ) , ocular trauma in 7 cases (18.92%), RVO 6 cases ( 16.22% ) , the three groups of patients for primary vitreous hemorrhage reasons . 60 years of age or older patients , PDR 27 Example 28 eyes ( 61.36% ) , ocular trauma in 5 cases (11.36%), RVO 7 cases ( 15.91% ) . Etiology in each age group there was significant difference (χ2 = 81.52, p lt; 0.005). Conclusion : PDR, ocular trauma , RVO, retinal vein inflammation around the vitreous hemorrhage is caused by the most common cause ; eye injury , PDR, RVO, retinal vein inflammation around the male patients with vitreous hemorrhage is the main reason , PDR, RVO, ocular trauma female patients with vitreous hemorrhage is the main reason ; ocular trauma , retinal vein inflammation around the age of 44 young patients with vitreous hemorrhage main reason. PDR, ocular trauma , RVO is a middle-aged patients 45 to 59 years a major cause of vitreous hemorrhage . PDR, RVO patients aged 60 or older is vitreous hemorrhage main reason.
