Abstract


As we all know, English education to get a lot of attention and concern, especially in non-English-speaking countries, such as China, Singapore, Japan and India. The basic elements of learning English vocabulary. Many linguists and language educator vocabulary is a key part of the language teaching. Although they think that vocabulary is very important, but the students vocabulary learning seen as the most difficult part of the foreign language learning. In addition, the students formed a repetitive mechanical habit of memorizing vocabulary. They have to spend a lot of time and effort in the vocabulary, but they get the limited size of the vocabulary. When they communicate with people, they may not speak any words and embarrassed. As for the students, who have been learning English for more than six years. When we talk about how to learn vocabulary, they are also confused. They complained about their limited vocabulary and the ability to use the language in real communication. I find many theories on how to improve vocabulary skills, but also to do some experiments on memorizing vocabulary. Therefore, I can make the conclusion that the task-based teaching is to expand students' vocabulary, improve their interpersonal skills of an effective method. The communication method is an effective way to learn English. The task-based teaching methods of its development. It originated in Prabhu's Bangalore project, this project teaching objectives mixed activities. The task-based teaching methods emphasize \In order to prove that the task-based teaching methods for learning vocabulary is an effective method, I experiment in two classes, one experimental group of application tasks pedagogy, another application of the traditional teaching of the control group. The experiment lasted 18 weeks. We also solve the test data and test questionnaires. After the experiment, the author found a significant difference between the two groups. Experimental group than the control group gained more vocabulary. Most of the students accepted the task-based teaching methods, and to benefit from this approach, such as they like to participate in classroom activities, and they found it very easy to remember vocabulary.
