Abstract


In recent years, the media reported that the earthquake and other natural disasters, through three-dimensional, humane story won more right to speak and the initiative , and in the Nujiang dam , Xiamen PX and other public events on environmental issues began actively to build and consultations between the Government and social rationality \far failed to become media conscious , but also with the practical needs of the general public there is a big gap. 1 while the United States is recognized worldwide as the birthplace of environmental news , the diversity of its environment news stories and influence are the focus of academic research . In this paper, in the relevant field of study of previous research results obtained on the basis of content analysis and discourse analysis approach to comparative study in November 2010 to December China's \. The main use of quantitative research methods , respectively, 135 and 145 English Chinese reported reported reported for the number of reported content, news genre , news actors , sources and news sources six aspects of statistics ; using qualitative analysis, from the micro-level text symbols, data usage , use of quotations , comments, usage and macro-level thematic structure , overview and narrative style, and many other aspects of detailed in-depth analysis of the overall analysis and case examples through a combination of a summarized in United States in status and differences in environmental news , combined with objective reality for the country's environmental communication research and practice to provide some basic materials and suggestions. Studies suggest that the issue of Sino-US framework for environmental news , the regulator framework , detail frame , humanistic framework , balancing framework and the framework of six aspects of the public have comparable coverage and news discourse framework to build different models in different environmental news of the two countries the difference lies, while the two different political , cultural, and news value is the root cause of this appearance .
