Abstract


Confucius’s political thought based on the fact that the ritual system inefficacious and the live order crumpled in the chunqiu age. Confucius’s political thought design a new order system,which have two basis:ritual and Good. Good, which based on human nature, is the bridge of Confucius’s political thought. Confucius believe ritual can keep the order outside,while Good can shape human nature constitute morality order,and then realize the political order. The moral and the political syncretize easily in Confucius’s political thought. The political order comes from the construction of morality order in Confucius’s political thought,therefor, Confucius’s political thought is famous by the moral trait.Confucius’s political thought which developed by Mencius and Xunzi. Mencius and Xunzi expanded and improved Confucius’s order system, they both believe ritual and Good are key point of Confucius’s political thought.The different between Mencius and Xunzi is about ritual and Good which is more important in the order system. Mencius attention to the role of Good, but Xun Zi, pay more attention to ritual, although they both are fierce defender of Confucianism.
