Abstract


The information industry in China in recent years, one of the fastest growing industries. Since the Sixteenth Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2002, the Chinese government began to advocate to take the new road to industrialization of information technology to stimulate industrialization, promotion of information technology industrialization \Therefore, a review of the context of the development of the information industry at home and abroad to study the information industry cluster formation, exists in the form and evolution of future development is particularly urgent and important. As the development of international economic, financial, trade and shipping center, Shanghai must be rapid digestion, absorption, and high-tech development, industrialization, and large-scale transformation of traditional industries and the upgrading of industrial structure, and improve industry competitiveness latecomer effect to achieve narrow with the developed countries, the gap in strategic industries. Thus, the rapid development of the information industry has become an important force to promote the industrial structure transformation and optimization. In this paper, the information service industry in Shanghai as the research object Shanghai four categories of information services companies as of the end of 2008, the Shanghai Industrial and Commercial Bureau of Statistics (computer services category, class of software services, systems integration, statistical analysis of spatial data, technical means, class, telecommunications and other classes) data analysis, the development status of research information service enterprises in Shanghai, the state of the cluster. In carrying out the above analysis, this paper uses a statistical analysis following two methods: First, the statistical analysis of exploratory spatial data information services business development scale, economic efficiency, the development of state and non-spatial attributes, in order to understand the development of the industry as a whole the overall features and analyzes the differences between the various types of enterprises and its influencing factors; Secondly, the use of correlation analysis, spatial correlation analysis approach to investigate the correlation between the distribution of information service enterprises with the township (neighborhood) in Shanghai resident population density relations, as well as information service enterprises cluster status of spatial autocorrelation, and analysis of the differences between the various types of enterprises and its influencing factors. Overall, the Shanghai information service enterprises to small and medium concentration below 50 enterprises accounted for three-quarters, more than 70% of the per capita annual sales of 50 million within the enterprise, including telecommunications and other companies to small-scale centralized trend more apparent.
