Abstract

Although the genus Microtus species were closely related to, but social mating system and there are obvious differences between species, behavior, neuroendocrine characteristics significantly different, so through a comparative study of different kinds of voles, Microtus help reveal different mating systems and social ties formation mechanism, therefore, is to study the genus Microtus social behavior and molecular biology of neuroendocrine ideal animal models and hot research object. Although the neurobiological basis of social behavior has been more research, but the behavior of these complex gene regulation remains unclear. 1 a arginine vasopressin receptor (VlaR) the regulation of mammalian social behavior plays an important role. Avprla 5 'flanking region of short tandem repeats (STRs) in deciding whether vole mating system is still controversial. Therefore, we analyzed several different mating systems and social nature small rodents (Brown monogamous voles (Microtus mandarinus); multi prepared vole (Microtus fort is), the root vole (Microtus oeconomus), Brandt's vole (Microtus brandti) and cansus (Myospalax cansus) avprla microsatellite differences to determine avprla upstream microsatellite polymorphism affecting the mating system is an important factor, we extracted from the liver of male DNA, amplification and clone its avprla microsatellite region and cytochrome b sequences. use of bioinformatics tools for avprla microsatellite region and cytochrome b sequence analysis, and the use of the cytochrome b gene phylogenetic main results are as follows: 1. Avprla Microsatellite long fragment of voles in different mating system are present, but does not exist in cansus Explanation avprla microsatellite long fragment was not caused by the presence or absence of the necessary conditions for a single preparation, may have a case of differences between the 2. Avprla microsatellite length polymorphism exists between species, although microsatellite length polymorphism can not be excluded for the impact of social monogamy, but our data demonstrate the vole genus marriage systematic difference is not due to the length of their cause microsatellites of, avprla microsatellite length polymorphism and social monogamy is not directly linked. microsatellite changes may affect some neurobiological phenotype, but does not affect mating system. 3 brown vole, Microtus fortis, Root mice and voles microsatellite repeat unit having a complex, including the four repeating units and two nucleotide nucleotide repeating unit number of repetitions of the repeating region, and number of different loci, these results indicate that a single society preparation of related social behaviors may be associated with microsatellite repeat unit about 4 by cytochrome b Phylogenetic results showed that the brown tree vole, vole, voles and Brandt's vole is very close genetic relationship. brown voles and Brinell voles closer relationship and relative root voles Microtus fortis, evolutionary primitive Oriental and root vole Microtus close genetic relationship of these voles despite not losing microsatellite sequences, but avprla microsatellite polymorphism and Monogamous related behavior evolution may not be a significant factor. These results indicate that, avprla microsatellite long fragment presence and monogamy is no direct link. microsatellite mating system does not determine the genetic switch. different microsatellite repeat unit may be used as an adjustment factor, causing changes in the brain avprla, thereby affecting social behavior. Avprla microsatellite polymorphism associated with monogamous behavior evolution may not be a significant factor.
