Abstract

Earthquake liquefaction is an important reason to cause disasters, causing serious losses to human life and property. Liquefaction is one of the important topic of geotechnical earthquake engineering research, has always been subject to domestic and foreign scholars and attaches great importance to the engineering profession. Since 1964, earthquake liquefaction caused widespread concern and attention on the international geotechnical engineering. Although in the past four decades of research has made great progress, but due to its complexity, from theory to engineering applications still there are many issues worth exploring, still important research direction in the future. Indoor test is an important means to study liquefaction, but unable to overcome their own shortcomings, laboratory test results and actual liquefaction response gaps. Site monitoring since the 1970s began to be used in the international liquefaction research, but because of the earthquake seldom occurred and the immaturity of the short-term prediction, so far the results are extremely limited. Artificial excitation field liquefaction test techniques have been developed as to make up for the lack of laboratory and field monitoring. Site liquefaction test artificial excitation mechanism of pore pressure increase for in-depth understanding of the actual liquefaction venues to explore and study the liquefaction mechanism of soil liquefaction potential is estimated to provide alternative ways and means of artificial excitation method applies not only to the liquefaction problem research, but also can be applied to the study of other problems in geotechnical earthquake engineering, to provide a new method for the awareness and dynamic characteristics of the soil, its potential advantages to be further explored and developed. The artificial excitation field liquefaction test in the international community have a certain development, but is still in the exploratory stage, has not yet formed a universal method, while in mainland China has just started. In this paper, based on systematic summary of the artificial excitation Liquefaction Test Research, establish artificial excitation field liquefaction test technology platform to study specific issues, preliminary artificial excitation Liquefaction test. The main work includes the following aspects: (1) build a the site liquefaction technology platform artificial excitation, by venues field test, analysis proved that the method given site liquefaction test the technical feasibility, basic organizational processes and the development of our unique artificial excitation field liquefaction technology. Designed two different forms of on-site liquefaction test, test by model box and test pit, pointed out its characteristics and advantages, and both field test mode test proved highly actionable and reliability, but also pointed out the problems in the development process, and laid a foundation for further development of the study of the artificial excitation geotechnical engineering field trials. 3. By artificial excitation field liquefaction test, preliminary given soil liquefaction when the development of pore pressure and surface acceleration amplitude, shear strain amplitude relationships between and analysis of the factors affecting this relationship.
