Abstract


The foundation is weak students' English language, spoken in the inevitable mistakes. The effective use of the error correction strategy will not only improve students 'speaking skills, but also to protect the students' self-esteem, self-confidence and enthusiasm for learning. In this paper, eight kinds of error correction strategy is able to reduce errors and improve students 'oral proficiency in students' oral verified through empirical research. In this study, two classes of Liaoning University of Petroleum \u0026 Chemical Vocational College freshman for the study, an experimental class, the other for the control of the class, conducted a 16-week teaching experiment. In the oral teaching experiments, involving a total of two oral test activities are measured and the end of the two classes in two classes at the beginning of the school spoken before spoken posttest. In addition, in the experimental classes to the error analysis theory based on teachers to adopt different strategies of error correction, to be classroom observation, questionnaires and interviews, and other means, to conduct research and analysis around three, and finally concluded. The three questions are: 1) the causes of the mistakes in the students' English language oral?) Error correction strategy is valid in the oral teaching? 3) direct corrective method, partial repetition method to clarify the requirements of the law, clues provided by law, the inspired boot Law, repeated words, companion error correction several error correction strategy, which is more likely to be students receive? while in the control classes, English conversation class using traditional lectures. Experimental results show that: positive role in promoting the use of spoken error correction strategies to improve students' oral English. By contrast on the pre-test and post-test data analysis, experimental classes, English classes through the adoption of a semester error correction strategy, significantly reduced errors in spoken students in vocabulary, syntax, and discourse at different levels of error was significantly reduced. The statistical results of the survey show that vocational students error correction errors in spoken and treat a positive attitude. The results of the interviews show that most students believe that the use of error correction strategy to promote the role of raising the level of spoken English. The major findings of this study are: 1) Most of the students spoken corrective hold a positive attitude, however, they do not want to be corrected too frequently; 2) students like the companion error correction error correction mode, especially like companions correct their pronunciation. Part of the conclusion of the article, the author puts forward the significance of the experiment Oral English Teaching in Higher Vocational guidance, analysis of the problems and deficiencies of the experiment, and future research are proposed in this regard.
