Abstract


This paper aims to study children's language acquisition external language input and internal parameters of the calculation model system to learn , to understand , a simple syntax . Computational model of a simulated child language term stage to the two word stage (O2T: One-word To Two-word) , as the starting point , this paper quantitative simulation experiments , centralized the investigated system capacity ( acquisition amount of knowledge ) and evaluation output ( system based on the quality of learning to understand and produce simple syntax ) suffered the impact of language input and model parameters , and asked the contribution word , three word / concept , abstract critical factor influencing factors . Contribution word contains the syntactic information in language input ; related word / concept contains syntactic information associated with the new syntax ; abstract critical factor is the key to innovative learning . The experimental results show that the contribution of words and word / concept of the role of system capacity and evaluation output is much larger than the other information in the language input ; critical the abstract factor with related word / concept of joint control evaluation output , the former value changes can lead to epitaxial too wide or too within extended too narrow . The results of a similar experiment is also another computational model of language acquisition in children MOSAIC (Model of Syntactic Acquisition in Children) , which indicates that the influencing factors of children 's language acquisition computing model presented in this paper have a certain degree of generality . Based on the differences between the experimental results of the two models , the article further discussion of the difference between the MOSAIC model and O2T of model . Introduction of visual information , this article still O2T model in developed V-O2T system and design a core to the V-O2T system , the picture early education software , innovative for assessing children's learning ability .
