Abstract


Wang Guo-wei is a famous scholar in the modern times.He has exerted great influence on such disciplines as philosophy、literature、characters、linguistics、history、Ancient Literature Documents,and enjoyed a good reputation both at home and abroad. As a retrospect of his academic career, two classes may be roughly seen: Mr Wang Guo-wei liked Western Learning before going to Japan again, focusing on first is philosophy and literature. After 1911 Revolution, he transfered to study classicism and history, and made great achievements. The aesthetic quality of the academic achievements about Wang Guo-wei in the modern times was few. On the Saying "Historical Six Classics"by Zhang Xue-cheng in the history of Confucian Classics in the Qing Dynasty, Wang Guo-wei was demand of it. Under the background of classicism in the modern times, he was not directly involved ancient school and contemporary school of Confucian Classics Studies in Qing Dynasty.He inherited the achievements ofthe Qing Dynasty academic tradition,application of double evidence method. He has made great contribution for economic development of academic ideology. This paper is to unscramble research on Classical Studies by Wang Guo-wei,correctly recognize the status and role of Wang Guo-wei.It will return to the independence of Classical Studies,get the most from the fields of Er Ya、Shangshu、Book of songs、Book of Rites、Spring and Autumn. Wang Guowei’s research was principally for philosophy、literature、characters、linguistics、history、Ancient Literature Documents. According to previous studies, They has never been pure Classical Studies.I should promote my work from the following respects: distinguish the comprehension of Wang Guo-wei’s academic theories; Through various aspects of researches, get the most from the fields of Er Ya、Shangshu、Book of songs、Book of Rites、Spring and Autumn.I will analyze Wang Guowei’s study of literature, and take an objective evaluation of his Literary Thought.This paper consists of six theories: 1、The Status of Guowei’s study in the modern times;2、Wang Guo-wei’s great influence on such disciplines as philosophy、literature、characters、linguistics、history、Ancient Literature Documents;3、Analyzing Guowei’s study of Er Ya、Shangshu、Book of songs、Book of Rites、Spring and Autumn;4、Analyzing his linguistic achievements;5、Analyzing Guowei’s Ancient Literary Theory;6、Analyzing Wang Guowei’s study of literature, and take an objective evaluation of his Literary Thought.
