Abstract

The competition of 21st century is in essence competition of talented people. On the one hand, except for problems of daily living, study as well as interpersonal communication, the increasingly fierce competition environment, the uncertainty of future makes human beings always be involved in strenuous psychological pressure; on the other hand, the progress of our society require talented people to be excellent both in professional skills and psychological quality and sense of team work. While paying attention on employee’s individual skills, the corporation lays more and more emphasis on their synthesis qualities. For the present training courses, the rising outward bound training, through making use of different typical scenes and methods, creates opportunities for the team and/or the individuals to have a series of experiences, build stubborn wills, develop healthy psychological qualities and positive and progressive life attitudes. Therefore, it is the right and efficient experiencing learning method to bring up a healthy body and psychology, help adapt to society as well as build innovation skills.The outward bound training, with a history of more than 13 years in China, is now becoming an industry, which draws more and more attentions. However, because of short development history, lack of related rules and regulations, the low admittance and other reasons, outward bound training industry takes on looks of irregularities and out-of-order development state, which hinders its in Sustainable developmentThe study, on the basis of reference to a great deal of literature, with study object of development history of outward bound training in Beijing, study methods of literature consultation, expert interview, questionnaire investigation, mathematical statistics and logical analysis etc, gives details and concrete analysis and discussion from the framework, training base, training guiders as well as other people involved. It reaches conclusion as follows:1 After enter of the rising outward bound training industry into market, it’s widely recognized and wins the overwhelming appraises from different walks of peoples. There is larger ascending space for it with good development trend.2 Problems are:the training institution system is not perfect with no long term strategy, simple establishments in training bases, little innovation, no accreditation standards of training guiders etc.The study, through the summary and analysis of outward bound training’s development history in Beijing, manages to reveal its basic rules to provides constructive pertinent suggestion to its future development, which will be the of beneficial help to the development of outward bound training in the other places. All of these will promote the healthy and sustainable development of outward bound training industry.
