Abstract


The Electronic Magazine is one kind of the new media art designs and new mass media dissemination form as well as people’s reading idea and the view custom. It combines all kind of multimedia and contents, It will be close to the needs of readers in the electronic age and provide readers with more knowledge of the channels. The connection between the electronic magazine and is increasingly closer is not only a form of decoration or a show of layout to this new media with pictures and animations, but also a new system to guide readers taking full advantage of the electronic magazine. With the maturity and improvement of the electronic magazine industry, their edition system will be more suitable to the deeper demands of readers and develop new features.The paper mainly introduces the status quo of Electronic Magazine research in China, and tries to give a definition on "Electronic Magazine". mainly expounds the general development situation of Electronic Magazine’s development in China and the development of "KaiLa".The paper defines characters of Electronic Magazine through several angles such as communication, content, and operation mode, select "KaiLa" for example. The paper further elaborates the digital media characteristic of the layout by doing some theoretical analysis, comparation as well as pratical manufacture and other research techniques. The paper emphatically analyzes the applications of media form, the video frequency, audio frequency, animation, film and television in the Electronic Magazine layout. The paper prospects the innovative and exploratory analysis of the Electronic Magazine layout and its design in the future
