In this paper, the application of 3S Technology in 1990 and 2010 Landsat remote sensing image as the data source, using field survey and visual interpretation based on the Altai peat wetland distribution and change analysis. Meanwhile, the analysis of Altai peat wetland change driving factor, Altai peat wetland restoration give the appropriate repair measures. (A) classification showed Altai in 1990 the total area of ??wetland peat 66,336.45 ha, accounting for the total area of ??Altai 2.42%. Altai in 1990 the total area of ??wetlands is 157,022.34 ha, which accounted Altai peat wetland wetlands 42% of the total area. Data show that in 1990 Altai wetland peat wetlands dominated; (2) classification showed Altai in 2010 the total area of ??wetland peat 38,326.14 ha, accounting for the total area of ??Altai 1.42%. Altai in 2010 the total area of ??wetlands is 108,811.8 ha, while the peat wetlands wetlands accounted Altai 35.2% of the total area. Data show that in 2010 Altai wetland peat wetlands dominated; (3) from the 1990 and 2010 distribution map view peat wetlands, peat wetlands are mainly distributed in the Altai Mountains in the northwest and southeast ends. Almost no middle part of the distribution of peat wetlands. From 1990 and 2010 peat wetland distribution figure, Altay region six counties, Green River County peat wetlands most widely distributed, Fuyun County peat wetland distribution area of ??the smallest; (4) In this paper, DEM data, geographic information system ArcGIS Software Arc Sense module Slope function with the support of the study area DEM data for slope analysis. The results showed that the peat wetlands occur at relatively low gradient zone. Speaking on alpine wetland peat, 0 ° -17 ° slope for the best. Slope greater than 17 ° on peat wetlands adverse; (5) Altai peat wetland area of ??66,336.45 ha from 1990 was reduced to 38,326.14 ha, variation is -28,010.31 ha. Seen from a dynamic degree study of peat wetlands in these 20 years, the average annual rate of 4.22 percent decrease. Data show that Altai peat wetland degradation is particularly evident; (6) affect the main driving factor peat wetlands including climate factors and human factors. Climatic factors including temperature and precipitation. The man-made factors, including overgrazing, disorderly exploitation of natural resources and tourism; (7) Altai peat wetland degradation including climate factors driving factors and human factors. To get better results of the recovery, we must first solve anthropogenic interference in order to achieve better results. Abroad peat wetland restoration commonly used methods include re-wetting and surface soil removal.
