Abstract


Communication Strategies in the second language of the study refers to the techniques used in the case of communication difficulties to achieve a particular communicative goal . Effective use of communicative strategies for English learners to improve oral communication ability is important. In this paper, the theory of communicative strategies as the theoretical basis for the research and application of Communication Strategies theoretical guidance for Oral English Teaching in Higher Vocational effect . The study selected 78 college students in two classes of Fuxin College of Humanities Department of English professional tour guides . Through questionnaires , oral test and interview , has been related experimental data , and data were statistically analyzed using statistical applications , and then in-depth discussion , the final answer four research questions . The results showed that : 1. Oral English Teaching in Higher Vocational theory of communicative strategies to guide an effective teaching methods, students' oral performance and interpersonal skills has been greatly improved . Communication Strategies theory is applied to the actual oral teaching , showing different effects for different levels of English communicative . Communicative English language ability is higher, the more we tend to take frequent communication strategies to solve the communication difficulties and positive achievement strategies , especially in the target language based communication strategy . At the same time , the language skills of communication tend to rarely use the mother tongue - based strategy and reduction strategies . 3 Communication Strategies classroom training can not only raise awareness of language user's communicative strategies , but also greatly enhance the communication strategy in the actual process of communication, frequency of use and effectiveness . Communicative strategies for different types of students' actual strategy use and awareness of attitude between the same point : the students affirmed the role of the target language - based communication strategy negate the mother tongue - based strategy and reduction strategies role. This study for non-English major English teaching in higher vocational colleges is to have a significant effect : Communication Strategies classroom training in English teaching , the proposed communication strategy instruction can be reasonably integrate to the Oral English Teaching in Higher Vocational process to improve English teaching in general .
