Known for English learners , the four basic skills that must be mastered , namely listening, speaking , reading and writing . Reflect the four skills of English teachers and students , \Writing , as an output , it not only requires students to write out , writing teachers need to change overnight . 1960s , teacher feedback if beneficial to the improvement of language accuracy was a highly controversial , after the discussion of the scholars argued , ultimately , the effectiveness of feedback by most scholars recognized . However , in the domestic feedback about writing exactly how it affects English learner language accuracy and teachers how to give effective feedback in the end but only a handful . This qualitative study aimed to reveal the writing feedback , including direct feedback and indirect feedback , how the impact of second language learners . In this study, using the case study method , selected 09 students of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Dalian Maritime University , conducted a follow-up study of a 12-week college English courses . Using a variety of methods for data collection, including classroom observation , copies of student writing assignments and modify jobs , copy teacher feedback , and interview . The study results show , and teacher feedback really helps a lot of second language learners , but direct feedback and indirect feedback effect is different , generally speaking , based on the form of the error , such as syntax , indirect feedback is more effective . Direct feedback more effective content - based errors such similar expressions . Most students believe that the teacher writing feedback to help improve the learning of English and writing teacher gives feedback , individual differences exist between the student and the student application modification ; kind of feedback student teachers writing and the way attitude directly affects the acceptability and use of the feedback .
