Abstract


In today's world, the dissemination and exchange between the different parts of culture has become more and more quickly and frequently. The movie as an important carrier of culture, has become an important way for people to understand the outside world. China's reform and opening up, more and more foreign films, especially based on Hollywood movies on behalf of the British and American film work the influx of Chinese and welcomed and loved by the general public. Order to be able to appreciate foreign films, dialogue and subtitles for those foreign films which appeared to take a variety of methods, in addition to the original dialogue dubbing, now more common movie subtitle translation. Subtitles translate is a relatively new field of translation research in this area has made great achievements, the whole, however, the current specification Subtitles translate the theory is not yet mature and improve. So far, the film subtitle translation is not yet a recognized theoretical standard. Based on the actual situation, trying a new angle to the theoretical basis of subtitle translation, appropriate methods and effective way to make a contribution to the movie subtitle translation theory. On the other hand, the current practice Subtitles translate mostly movie lovers spontaneous exploratory activity, large dependence interest personal translator or translation team translate sometimes difficult to guarantee the quality of the translation, so this article with a new angle to explore the subtitle translation will have the significance of the current practice Subtitles translate. This paper attempts to study from the point of view of aesthetics, the subtitle translation. Reception Aesthetics is an important Western literary theory, it is stressed that the text is transferred to the research focus of literary works from the past the readers above to be different readers in different historical periods have different interpretations of the same works. The text must be in the reader's acceptance of the case can be called works. Accept the aesthetic requirements of a full range of analysis, the reader, and the creation of literary works should be consistent with the level of expectations of the readers or slightly different. Also, special attention to the transfer of cultural and other factors in the process of translation. Discussion of this article is to follow the principle of combination of theory and practice. This article first introduces the theoretical basis of the research status quo and this study in the West, and then through the film text specific examples to illustrate the application of theories. Order based on this discussion, the paper is divided into five chapters, each chapter is as follows: The first chapter is the background and significance of this study as well as the framework structure, Chapter elaborate literature, introduced in the West in the past Subtitles translate research status . The third chapter introduces the aesthetics as well as with accepted aesthetic to guide the feasibility of the movie subtitle translation. The fourth chapter focuses on Aesthetics guidance should be how to carry out the subtitle translation, and select the subtitle translation of the movie \The fifth chapter concludes with a review of the entire paper, and pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of this thesis. Subtitles translate studied from the point of view of reception aesthetics is the starting point of this article. Accept the aesthetic requirements to make a comprehensive analysis of the expected audience acceptance, as much as possible so that the translated text and audience expectation level of the fusion of horizons. The translation principle accepted aesthetic, under the guidance of film subtitle translation, translation strategy is the focus.
