Abstract


With the changes of china economy and law, TV legal programs had development both in number and morphology. It not only provided colorful content for TV programs, but also played an indelible role in popularize legal knowledge. As the first news of legal programs, "Law Online" has always been closely linked to the purpose:"Focus on China’s legal process and hot issues in this area. Revealing the complex relationship between man and law, human care and legal". "Law Online" is a legal program, but it also a kind of news documentary. It has created special properties in the programming, reporting features and part form. However, with many types of programs rolling out, the TV legal program’s market share declined in recent years; In addition, many legal programs contain the same matter. Some of them lack of innovation. It makes the potential target audience is gradually lost. "Law Online" needs improve their competitive advantage from innovation.This thesis reviews the history of the development of the legal programs, and summarizes the characteristics of each stage of legal program. "Law Online" was born in the prosperity times. It created a new kind of state in legal program market. This thesis illustrates the background and channel positioning, focusing on characteristics and thematic activities of "Law Online". It also makes analysis for the difficulties encountered in the development program and makes effort to find the strategy.
