Abstract


The rational design and preparation of coordination architectures with intriguing structures and functions （or properties） is one of the most rapidly developing fields in current coordination chemistry. The theoretical forecasting of complexes structures and functions is still very difficult because they may be affected by many factors. Therefore, it is still necessary to systematically study the synthesis and structures of complexes by carefully design and selection of suitable ligands, anions and other factors, as well as the relationships between them.In this dissertation, the coordination chemistry of 1,2,4-triazole ligands and triazole-carboxylic acid ligands are investigated, which mainly focused on the syntheses and structures. Using such ligands to react with some transition metal salts, complexes with 0D or 2D structures have been obtained and characterized by elemental analyses, IR and X-ray crystallography. The main contents have been summarized as following:1. In the frist part, the relative concept and background of coordination polymers which are related with the studies of this thesis were briefly introduced, and the progress of the coordination chemistry of triazole was briefly reviewed.2. （a）Four new metal complexes have been synthesized by M（II） （M = Ni or Zn） and 3-aryl-4-phenyl-5-sulfhydryl-1,2,4-triazole. Single crystal X-ray analysis indicates that [Ni（L1）2（OH）2]n（1）, [Ni（L1）2（OH）2]n（2）, {[Ni（L2）2（OH）2]（CH3CN）2}n（3） and {[Zn（L2）2（OH）2] （CH3CN）2}n （4） are four 2D framework structures. （b） Three 0D coordination polymeric isomers with M（II） （M = Co or Zn） and 3,6-diphenyl-7H-1,2,4-triazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4] thiadiazines（L4） were solvothermally prepared and structurally characterized. Two Co（II） complexes have the same chemical formula, but their structure are different. （c） One new metal complex have been synthesized by Cd（II） andα-triazol-acetophenone （L6）. Single crystal X-ray analysis indicates that [Cd （L6）6（ClO4）2]（8） is one 0D framework structure.3. One new coordination polymers [Ni2（L8）2（MeOH）6]（9） with 1,2,3-triazole-4,5- dicarboxylate （H2L8） ligands were synthesized and characterized, and their inclusion and photophysical properties have been further studied.
