Abstract

Objective To understand the occupational groups in western Liaoning demographic characteristics, with regard to brucellosis (referred to brucellosis) knowledge, beliefs, behaviors basic situation, in order to develop targeted, practicality and effectiveness of health education training methods provide a reliable basis. Methods This study consists of two stages: the first stage is in western Liaoning and cattle and other livestock have close contact with the occupational populations brucellosis knowledge and behavior of cross-sectional surveys, analyze their situation and to determine the baseline intervention focus; second stage is the implementation of the intervention point brucellosis health education intervention, intervention after the end of occupational populations brucellosis-related knowledge and behavior surveys. By comparing before and after intervention brucellosis-related knowledge and behavior change, to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Questionnaire using the SPSS13.0 software for statistical processing, respectively, from the demographic characteristics, knowledge and behavior scores brucellosis situation related knowledge brucellosis, brucellosis and other aspects of behavior change risk analysis and conduct Evaluation. And relative to the baseline period, a number of end-stage occupational groups brucellosis correct high-risk behaviors decreased. Conclusion intervention after the intervention points found in the occupational groups to carry out health education brucellosis knowledge can significantly improve knowledge rate of brucellosis and behavior change rate. Health education and training has a significant intervention effects, it is worth promoting in health communication and promotion, but need to be further strengthened brucellosis health education methods of exploration and study to occupational groups easier to understand, easier to believe, more acceptable way carried out to find out more effective health education tools, and further promote the use of other similar areas.
