Abstract


Based on the fieldwork material in language usage, this paper investigated and studied use of phenomenon of bilingualism in Xinchi village of Ziyun country, which is a typical multi-national area in Guizhou province. Miao are the main nationalities in Xinchi village, accounts for the majority of the total population of the village. Miao of Xinchi village belongs to the second dialects of the northeast of Yunnan, and its languages have distinctive regional characteristic in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. Buyi and Miao of this village besides using their respective national languages, generally with Chinese as a main diction. Bilingual phenomenon has obvious characteristics in bilingual type and language selection. The most people of local Buyi and Miao grasp their ethnic languages, has an innate kindness for them, in family and villages in this nation still speak their ethnic languages primarily. But in the community occasions, will adopt Chinese, and according to communication scene, communicative objects and the different conversations, they select the different language, so the language used is more complicated.In Xinchi village, the social environment (national language policy, social transformation) and national own element (population quantity, ethnic migration, religious belief) are the two aspects of the Influencing factor in linguistic application, linguistic attitudes. National language policy fundamentally guarantees the equal right of the local Buyi and Miao using their language and characters, which determines the development of local Miao-Chinese bilingual teaching. Social transformation, such as a tide of going out to work or the appearance of multimedia, influence linguistic application, linguistic attitudes. While national own element influence linguistic application and the sense of Identity for national language in the deeper level. From this, we can analyse the relationship between Chinese and national languages, mandarin and dialect, different national languages and the necessity and feasibility of lingual harmonious development in multi-national area.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part (introduction):to introduce the meaning of this topic, the investigation process and survey methods, related research trends, the present situation of linguistic application and the type of bilingual type, characteristics in bilingual type and code-switching in Xinchi village of Ziyun country. The third part (the second chapter):analyse the linguistic attitude in communication function identity and emotional identity. The fourth part (the third chapter):analyses the social environment (national language policy, social transformation) and national own element (population quantity, ethnic migration, religious belief).The fifth part (the fourth chapter): analyses the existing language relationship and necessity and practicability of harmonious construction of multilingual harmonious development in multi-national area. The sixth part (epilogue):discusses this innovation points and insufficient.
