Abstract


30 years of reform and opening up , the total amount of the private economy in Zhejiang Province and have been expanding , as of the end of 2010 , the province has reached more than 310 million of the total number of SMEs , accounting for 99% of the total number of enterprises in the province . Zhejiang's economy , 96% of the industry total , 85 % of industry revenue , 82% of the export , 95% of employees in industrial enterprises from the SME . SMEs have made ??a huge contribution to the economic development of Zhejiang . However, the global financial crisis in 2008 the short board gradually emerged out of the private economy in Zhejiang . Especially into crisis era , in multiple regions SME closures , the exodus of these enterprises in the closure of many famous enterprises . The research showed that , the fundamental reason for this phenomenon is the majority of small and medium-sized private enterprises in Zhejiang lack of strategic management thinking , the dramatic changes in the internal and external situation can not be analyzed on a strategic level , concerned only with the immediate interests , did not establish its own unique competitive advantage , the ability to resist risks a serious impact on the survival and development of enterprises . Based on the global situation after the economic crisis , the paper selects typical of an enterprise in the small and medium-sized private enterprises in Zhejiang - ARROW as a case , the use of strategic management theory and analysis tools , and a detailed analysis of the opportunities and threats of the external environment faced by the enterprise , as well as its own advantages and disadvantages , developed on the basis of the development strategy of the company ARROW on how effective the proposed safeguards and recommendations to achieve strategic objectives . Through research , the paper argues that the the strategic management essential for the survival and development of SMEs . As typical of the small and medium-sized private enterprises , the ARROW strategic management research process and the recommendations of the medium and small private enterprises should have some sense of reality reference .
